Grande Prairie RV Rentals

Grande Prairie RV Rentals - Traveling in an RV is a common method for travelers to explore vast amounts of areas where there are no hotels or motels. These recreational are usually called motorhomes and provide convenient ways for travelers who do not need to pack and unpack each and every night. Additionally, they are able to stay in one place for as long as they want without spending an absurd amount on hotel fees. There are some classes of RVs on the market, and they are rated depending on their features and size. The top of the line model is a class A R.

There are many RV's available, ranging in different sizes and styles. The cheapest recreational vehicles tend to be ones that are not motorized and needs to be paired with another motor vehicle. These consist of campers that mount on the back of a truck, tent trailers, that pop into place, large trailers that require a heavy-duty truck to tow them and small trailers which can be towed by practically any type of motor vehicle. The motorized RVs are divided into three categories: class C, class B and class A. Class B RV's are usually nothing more that a conversion van with just the basics. Class C recreational vehicles, also referred to as mini-motorhomes, are normally fully self-contained and somewhat bigger. Class A RV's are the biggest units available and cover all the necessities, together with several other amenities.

The length of a class A recreational vehicle varies from thirty to forty feet and the weight varies from between 15,000 and 30,000 pounds. It sits upon a truck chassis or a specially made frame, depending on the model. The unit may either resemble a bus or have a boxy look to it, depending on the model. Custom colors and paint jobs are common to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

A Class A RV has several basic features like a kitchen area with a refrigerator and stove, at least one bed and a bathroom. High-end models can have a living room, a separate bathroom, a slide-out, and plush carpeting. Normally, the bathroom inside a class A motorhome is big enough to allow for a small tub. To compare, a class C bathroom has the sink, handheld shower and toilet all sharing the same small space. To help make the interior of a class A recreational vehicle more aesthetically nice, upscale lighting fixtures could be installed, custom cabinets can be added in the kitchen and leather furniture may be added. This helps to justify the large price tag that is associated with a class A RV. The price can generally be up to $100,000 or even higher, depending on the type of RV. Then again, to those people who consider their motorhome a home away from home, it is totally worth every penny.
