Tent Trailer Rentals Grande Prairie

Tent Trailer Rentals Grande Prairie - Folding camping trailers that can be utilized for camping in forested areas, parks or any other kind of place designated for camping purposes are called tent campers. Tent campers are also known as pop-up trailers and are typically lightweight allowing you to tow the trailer utilizing any size of vehicle. Camper trailers have a metal base with a nylon or canvas body that enables easy set up similar to how you would set up a standard tent.

The tent camper has several advantages. First, it is easy to haul the tent camper with anything from a big pick-up truck to a small family vehicle, because of its relatively lightweight and small construction. Tent campers have adequate weight to keep them steady on the road while traveling, but lightweight and small enough to keep the wind drag and reduction in gas mileage to a minimum. Maybe the best feature of tent campers is that it is a lot easier to set up than a standard tent. The camper could be parked on any terrain and normally requires little more than snapping the base frame into position and opening out the body section.

Tent campers are smaller than other kinds of campers and can be best described as a rectangular box riding on a set of wheels. When closed fully, the full height of a tent camper is usually not over than chest high to the standard male adult. To open out the camper, most models have a split lid enabling you to open out the portions from the middle of the top showing the nylon or canvas body below and the tent support frame. When the tent camper is installed completely it would have plenty of space for up to four sleeping bags and would normally provide a lot of head room for even a tall adult.

Other than the basic model, tent campers can also be provided with more features. Like for example, some kinds of campers come with mesh windows built into the nylon or canvas body, allowing natural light into the tent. A few will also come with window flaps enabling you to close windows during heavy rain or when sleeping at night. Tents are also constructed in such a way that wheelchair users can access the camper without difficulty, provided that a suitable lift is installed on the end of the metal base. Several tent camper types also utilize double seamed nylon or canvas that are designed to withstand all kinds of bad weather.

One of the main advantages of a tent camper that is occasionally disregarded is that the camper is positioned on wheels. With the body elevated from the ground it is more difficult for park wildlife to find their way into the tent. In addition, some models of camper provide a padded base making it more comfortable for sleeping in.

The size and equipment installed in a particular model and make would determine how much you need to pay for a brand new tent camper. Most dealers who sell the different camper models will also provide the basic tent camper. They will also help with the tow ball joint attachment to your vehicle that is utilized to attach the back of your vehicle to the camper trailer. Some tent camper types could be relatively pricey, but virtually all tent campers would still be less cost than all the other camper types.

Grand Prairie is the main city within the northwestern part of the province of Alberta within Western Canada. It is named after the prairie, which was first occupied by the Beaver First Nation bands who began their trade with the North West Company at Dunvegan in the early 1800's. In the year 1910, the Grand Prairie Townsite was sub-divided, and in the year 1912, it included a post office, a hotel, a land office, and a bank. During the year 1911, the Edson Trail to Grand Pairie from Edson was opened to help settlers reach Grande Prairie.
